Sheed looking for a Title with the Boston Celtics

By Iris Cobb

The Boston Celtics can't be happy. Kevin Garnett, Ray Allen, and Paul Pierce can't be happy. Without Kevin Garnett, the Celtics simply weren't the same team during the 2009 playoffs and greatly suffered without him, ultimately losing a seven game series to the Orlando Magic.

To be honest, the fact that Boston took Orlando to 7 games is pretty impressive in and of itself when you consider the ease with which the Magic buried the Cavs in the Eastern Conference finals.

With that said, the Boston Celtics will look to exact revenge on the Magic in 2009-2010. With a healthy Kevin Garnett at their disposal, the team will look to pick up right where it left off after it won an NBA title during the 2007-2008 basketball season.

Rajon Rondo - while a contributor in the 08' championship - turned his game up a notch and became one of the best point guards in the NBA.

The big three are aging, so this is the year for them to make something happen. Luckily, players like Rondo have stepped up and proven they can contribute as well.

In is Rasheed Wallace. A seasoned veteran with playoff experience and enough talent to still play some highly effective basketball, Sheed will add a much needed lift to the Celtics, who will be forced to compete with a competitive set of teams.

Glen "Big Baby" Davis has his best season in 09' making a game winning shot against the Orlando Magic in the second round. Davis will have to continue to improve his game if the Celtics expect to make another serious playoff push.

Wallace won a championship in 04' with the Detroit Pistons and is no stranger in playing in important games in the spring and summer time. - 30542
